Who your league's scoring helps and hurts
2026-27 NBA fantasy projections, scored two ways: your league's settings (ESPN default head-to-head points) and the standard Yahoo / NBA official points system. Players are ranked by projected fantasy points per game.
The two scoring systems
| Stat | Your league | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Points | 1 | 1 |
| Rebound | 1 | 1.2 |
| Assist | 2 | 1.5 |
| Steal | 4 | 3 |
| Block | 4 | 3 |
| Turnover | −2 | −1 |
| 3-pointer made | +1 | 0 |
| Field goal made / attempted | +2 / −1 | 0 |
| Free throw made / attempted | +1 / −1 | 0 |
What changes
- Missed shots cost you. Every miss is −1. A player shooting under about 50% from the field loses points on his own shot volume.
- Turnovers hurt twice as much (−2 vs. −1), so high-usage ball handlers who give it away drop.
- Assists, steals and blocks are worth more, so low-turnover playmakers and defensive guards rise.

Every player
Sort by any column. "Shooting pts" is the per-game total of your league's shooting terms (2×FGM − FGA + FTM − FTA); negative means misses cost more than makes earn.

How this was built
- Projections and average draft position (ADP) are ESPN's, pulled from ESPN's public fantasy API for the 2026-27 season. The pool is every player with an ESPN ADP inside the first picks.
- Ranks use fantasy points per game. Last season, ESPN's per-game projections tracked results well (r = .87 across 332 players) but its games-played projections did not (r = .26), so games played are shown separately rather than folded into the rank.
- "Standard" is Yahoo's default head-to-head points, which matches the NBA's official fantasy scoring. Your league uses ESPN's default points settings, so ESPN's ADP already reflects your scoring; the movers above matter most against leagues or rankings built on standard scoring.
